ETL Developer

As an ETL Developer in the Airline Industry, you will play a crucial role in supporting data integration and transformation initiatives. Your expertise in Azure Data Factory and MySQL will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance within large-scale enterprise environments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows and pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF). - Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading between multiple source and target systems. - Optimize MySQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to enhance performance and scalability. - Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. - Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance throughout ETL processes. - Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues promptly. - Develop and update technical documentation for ETL processes and data workflows. - Support the integration of airline-specific operational and customer datasets into enterprise reporting platforms. **Essential Skills / Must Have:** - 6+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory. - 6+ years of experience working with MySQL (including stored procedures, performance tuning, schema design). - Strong background in ETL development and data integration. - Experience with large-scale datasets in a fast-paced environment. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic business setting. **Desirable Skills:** - Experience in the airline or transportation industry. - Knowledge of other cloud data services (Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.). - Familiarity with data governance, data quality frameworks, and performance optimization.
