Role & responsibilities New Business Development: The Branch Manager is responsible to identifying new business opportuneness, building client relationship and developing strategies to drive the revenue growth and expand market presences. Generating and qualifying new leads creating proposals, negotiation deals collaborating with internal teams and tracking process for FTL and PTL Business from Jaipur to NCR. Network Designing: Based on the past experiences Zone/Territory new Hub/Branch opening Oversee feeder/Local operations, local pick-up and delivery operations, and inventory management. Ensure short/excess control is maintained at all times. Vendor/Co-loader Management: Maintain a database of vendors and co-loaders at the regional level. Lead negotiations and establish strong working relationships with vendors to ensure service levels are met. Evaluate the performance of vendors and identify areas for improvement. Market Vehicle Vendor Database: Manage and update the regional market vehicle vendor database. Conduct market vehicle analyses and load factor analyses to optimize operations. Fleet Knowledge: Strong understanding of fleet management, including vehicle make, size, capacity, and payload. Budget and Cost Control: Manage the operational budget, ensuring effective cost control measures are in place. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives. Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership to the Branch operations team, ensuring they are motivated and productive. Hold team members accountable for meeting operational targets and deliverables. Contingency Planning: Develop and execute contingency plans for potential operational disruptions. Communication and Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive results. Preferred candidate profile 1. Educational Qualification: Masters degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Alternatively, a minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial position. 2. Experience: 5-7 years of experience in cargo/logistics industries. Proven experience in managing large-scale operations, vendor negotiations, and team leadership. 3. Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience using ERP/SAP systems. Strong data analysis skills, including creating databases and presenting data using advanced Excel tools (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, pivot tables, and other formulas). 4. Communication Skills: Proficient in both Hindi and English, with the ability to draft professional emails and letters in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
