Estimation/Quotation Engineer

As an Interior Project Estimator, your main responsibility will be to prepare estimations for interior projects based on floor plans, 3D designs, and 2D production drawings. This will involve assessing the scope of the project by examining architectural plans, designs, and client requirements to understand the interior design elements and specifications. You will need to analyze design documents and specifications to determine the quantities, types, and costs of materials and services required for the project. Communication with partners is key, as you will be required to discuss estimates, address any questions, and provide updates in a timely and professional manner. Additionally, you should be prepared to handle any concerns or changes requested by clients or partners efficiently. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. Proven experience as an estimator or in a similar role within the interior design or construction industry, particularly focusing on B2B projects, is necessary. As for the skills required, you should possess strong analytical and mathematical abilities with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in estimating software and tools such as Microsoft Excel and specialized estimation software is essential. Excellent communication and negotiation skills will be beneficial for interacting with partners effectively. You should also have the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
