Job Description:
As an Estimation Engineer specializing in Interior Fit Out, you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out projects. Your role will involve working closely with project managers, architects, and suppliers to determine material and labor costs. You will need to analyse specifications, and other project documents to prepare detailed estimates.
Responsibilities
Analyse project documents, specifications, and scope of work.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
Collaborate with project managers and architects to understand project requirements.
Source and negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors.
Develop and maintain a database of material and labor costs.
Present estimates to clients and respond to their queries.
To conduct site visits on regular basis to understand and evaluate the site progress if needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
Proven experience of 1-3 years in interior fit-out projects.
Strong understanding of Interior methods and materials.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
