Job Description

Role & responsibilities Perform Material Takeoff (MTO) and Quantity Takeoff (QTO) for projects. Prepare detailed cut lists based on project specifications and architectural drawings. Conduct accurate cost estimation for furniture and other building product designs. Analyze and interpret architectural drawings to extract material and quantity requirements. Utilize estimation software and Bluebeam for precise measurements and cost analysis. Ensure efficient project documentation, maintaining detailed records of estimates and takeoffs. Apply intermediate quality tools to enhance estimation accuracy and efficiency. Utilize Advanced Excel for data analysis, cost comparisons, and reporting. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and procurement teams to optimize material usage. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in estimation, material takeoff, and quantity takeoff. Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings. Hands-on experience with estimation software and Bluebeam. Strong knowledge of Excel (Advanced level) for calculations and data management. Work experience in furniture, millwork, or building product design estimation. Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills in project management. Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
