JOB TITTLE- Estimation Engineer-furniture domain

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project drawings, BOQs, specifications, and tender documents to understand project scope and requirements.
  
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for furniture, joinery, and interior fit-out items.
  
• Coordinate with the design, procurement, and production teams to ensure accurate estimation of materials, labor, and overheads.
  
• Analyze supplier and subcontractor quotes and negotiate the best pricing to maintain competitiveness.
  
• Develop value engineering proposals without compromising design and functionality.
  
• Maintain and update the estimation database, unit rates, and costing sheets.
  
• Support the business development and sales teams with timely and competitive quotations.
  
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations as required.
  
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, standards, and contractual requirements.
  
• Assist in post-tender clarifications, revisions, and final negotiation stages.
  

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
  
• Additional certifications in estimation or project management is a plus.
  

Experience:

• Minimum 35 years of estimation experience in the

  furniture or interior fit-out industry

  , preferably in the GCC or international market.
• Proven track record of preparing estimates for high-end residential, hospitality, or commercial furniture projects.
  

Skills:

• Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications.
  
• Strong knowledge of furniture materials, joinery techniques, and production processes.
  
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills.
  
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and estimation software (e.g., Candy, CCS, or similar).
  
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design tools is a plus.
  
• Strong communication and organizational skills
