Coordinate with site engineers and Project managers to understand Material needs. Ensure timely procurement to avoid project delays. Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service and delivery timelines. Collect quotation from multiple vendors for required materials. Prepare price comparison and sheets and get approval from management. Create and issue Purchase Order as per approved quotation and materials specs. Negotiate prices, credit terms and delivery schedules with suppliers. Track and follow up on delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of materials at sites. Handle replacement or returns for damaged or non-compliant materials. Collect invoices and delivery challans from vendors. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly purchase reports.

Visit local markets or vendor locations to collect materials as per purchase order and ensure all materials are delivered to site/store without damage or delay.
