Job Description

As an Oracle ERP Financial IS Analyst, your primary role involves applying finance and accounting principles to the Oracle ERP system. You play a crucial part in supporting the implementation and ongoing maintenance of finance and accounting business applications. Your responsibilities include: - Implementing and providing daily support for business applications, collaborating closely with the company's Finance departments, vendors, contractors, and other IS caregivers. - Identifying and analyzing operational and systems issues, as well as opportunities, and developing effective solutions. - Assisting business partners with business process improvement, business requirements gathering, and test planning. - Preparing design specifications, test plans, scenarios, and scripts. - Consulting with functional departments to determine necessary system changes. - Understanding customers" business needs, building workflows, and engaging key customer representatives to incorporate solutions. - Managing specific work items and projects, including planning, scoping, estimation, and status reporting. - Investigating and resolving system functional and technical errors, troubleshooting systems and data, and generating solutions such as system modifications or enhancements. - Designing, configuring, and testing systems functionality changes. - Coordinating with other IT areas responsible for file transfers, security administration, reporting, and databases. - Reporting, tracking, and resolving application-related issues with the Oracle support organization. - Demonstrating service excellence and maintaining positive interpersonal relationships to maximize productivity and positive relations. - Performing rotational on-call responsibilities. - Independently defining tasks, identifying stakeholders and objectives, creating documentation, and writing complex scope of work and justifications. - Teaming with the business and other IS disciplines to develop and maintain appropriate disaster recovery architecture, projects, and policies, as well as participating in disaster drills for applications. In addition to the essential functions, you may also be responsible for: - Demonstrating proficiency in ERP functionalities, particularly in Oracle core functions such as General Ledger/COA, Accounts Receivable, and Tax/Vertex. - Reviewing Oracle Cloud quarterly release notes and CWBs to assess their impact on existing functionality and making recommendations to business users on new functionality. - Supporting release regression testing. Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree - 3 years of Application design, implementation, and/or maintenance of large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning systems, specifically Oracle ERP Cloud. Preferred Qualifications: - 3 to 5 years of Functional experience in Oracle Cloud Financials ERP.,
