Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Development Develop and execute product strategies for Zincalume and GRP water tanks aligned with company goals. Oversee the complete product lifecycle from concept, design, manufacturing, and quality testing to launch and after-sales support. Identify opportunities for product innovation, material improvements, and cost optimization. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to ensure market-leading offerings. Technical & Quality Management Ensure product compliance with relevant industry standards (IS codes, ASTM, ISO, WRAS, etc.). Collaborate with the engineering and manufacturing teams for design optimization, durability, and ease of installation. Monitor production processes to maintain high quality and resolve technical issues promptly. Business Development & Market Expansion Work closely with the sales team to identify and target new market segments including municipal, industrial, and residential sectors. Assist in government tendering, project bidding, and client presentations. Build and maintain relationships with EPC contractors, government bodies, consultants, and large corporate clients. Leadership & Team Management Lead and mentor a cross-functional team including sales, design, and production staff. Provide training to sales teams on technical product knowledge and installation processes. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Address client queries, technical issues, and product customization requests. Support marketing efforts by creating technical datasheets, brochures, and presentations. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and technical seminars. Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Materials Science or related field. 58 years of experience in product management, preferably in water tanks or building materials industry. Key Skills & Competencies Strong technical knowledge of Zincalume, GRP, FRP, and other water tank materials. Expertise in manufacturing processes, product design, and quality testing. Business acumen with experience in market analysis and product positioning.
