About Investment Research (IR): As a global leader in knowledge processes, research, and analytics, you will be working with a team that specializes in global market research, collaborating with top-rated investment research organizations, bulge bracket investment banks, and leading asset managers. We cater to 8 of the top 10 global banks, supporting them on deal origination, execution, valuation, and transaction advisory-related projects. Responsibilities: - Build databases for tracking multiple sector and country performance - Develop screeners to identify attractive companies and create portfolio baskets - Analyze various factors to determine sector allocation strategies - Analyze trends in macro-economic factors to arrive at allocation strategies - Conduct thematic research using Top-down and Bottom-up approaches - Develop and maintain quantitative models using statistical models, including regression analysis Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in strategy research - Strong knowledge of macroeconomics and financial ratios - Ability to work independently with an eye for detail and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - High level of independent thinking and approach - Knowledge of database tools such as Datastream, Reuters, and Bloomberg - Understanding of asset classes including Equity, Credit, FX, and Commodities Please note that this job description is provided as an informative reference for potential tasks.
