J.P. Morgan's Global Research Center (GRC) was established in Mumbai in August 2003 as an expansion of the firm's global equity research teams worldwide. The GRC has steadily grown, with the team of analysts now offering coverage for key sectors globally. Apart from working closely with J.P. Morgan's equity research teams, GRC Analysts are involved in various areas of public side research such as fixed income research strategy, derivatives, commodities, quant, and indices. As an Analyst at J.P. Morgan's Global Research Center, your main responsibility is to conduct thorough research and analysis to support the Global Research franchise. This involves gathering and analyzing data from diverse sources, constructing financial models, and developing insightful reports and presentations. You will interact with colleagues globally, enhance market intelligence, and effectively convey findings to stakeholders. **Job Responsibilities:** - Understand and identify analyses to address key project objectives and initial hypotheses. - Gather and analyze relevant data from multiple sources for industry and company analysis. - Develop detailed financial models, reports, graphs, and datasets. - Produce clear and impactful products (reports/presentations) to extract insights and recommendations. - Articulate key arguments and insights clearly in verbal and written formats with stakeholders. - Actively collaborate with global sectors, participate in conference calls, and respond to project requests. - Acquire in-depth knowledge of industry, technology, regulatory aspects, and company specifics in the sector. **Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:** - Passion for financial markets and a strong intellectual curiosity. - Proficient quantitative skills, analytical aptitude, and ability to grasp new financial, industry, and tech concepts. - Sound knowledge of Excel, internet usage, standard MS Office suite, and market databases like Bloomberg. - Self-motivated individual with excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork abilities. - Meticulous attention to detail, ability to work to high standards, and deliver within tight deadlines. - A strong drive to learn and manage projects independently. - Advanced Excel knowledge and some experience in programming languages like Python, R, SQL, etc. **Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:** - Prior experience in Equity Research and programming proficiency. - Postgraduate degree or MBA with a distinguished academic background.,
