As a Junior Engineer in Quality Control, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products meets the required standards. Your primary tasks will include having knowledge of TIG welding and SMAW welding processes, as well as a basic understanding of advanced welding techniques such as laser welding. It is essential to possess excellent communication and written skills in English to effectively maintain all documents and records related to Quality Control in VMD. Previous exposure to ASME standards and familiarity with PED will be beneficial for this role. Additionally, you should be well-versed in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques including VT, PT, and RT. Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as vernier, measuring tape, roughness tester, and ultrasonic thickness gauge is required. You will also be responsible for preparing stage documentation of the fabrication process according to the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) and interpreting engineering drawings accurately. A good understanding of various fabrication processes involved in pressure vessel manufacturing is necessary for this position. Flexibility to work in shifts when required is essential.
