Key Responsibilities: 1. Product Development & Planning Collaborate with design and buying teams to develop new fashion bag collections in line with seasonal trends and brand identity. Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitor activities, and sales opportunities. Assist in range planning and selection of materials, colors, and styles. Prepare and present product briefs and line plans. 2. Sourcing & Supplier Coordination Source materials and finished products from local and international vendors. Liaise with suppliers for sampling, pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and lead times. Negotiate costs, terms, and production schedules with suppliers and manufacturers. Track production progress and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery. Maintain purchase order records, shipping schedules, and inventory databases. 4. Sales Analysis & Reporting Analyze sales performance to optimize product assortments and replenishments. Track sell-through rates and identify slow-moving styles for markdowns or promotions. Prepare regular reports on sales, margins, and product performance. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with marketing, visual merchandising, retail, and e-commerce teams for product launches and promotions. Support store teams with product training and merchandising guidelines. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field. 25 years of experience in fashion merchandising, preferably in accessories or bags. Strong understanding of fashion trends, product life cycles, and consumer behavior. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PLM, ERP systems, and merchandise planning tools. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Ability to travel locally and internationally for sourcing and supplier meetings. Desirable Attributes: Passion for fashion and accessories.
