Job Description

ePUB & Accessibility Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage
ePUB files
including
Fixed Layout
and
Reflowable
formats.
Perform
PDF accessibility
and
PDF remediation
in compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG/Section 508).
Create and validate
XML files
and ensure accurate structuring of digital content.
Build
sample ePUBs
and conduct thorough testing and validation.
Execute
quality control (QC)
checks to ensure error-free final deliverables.
Oversee
end-to-end project delivery
, ensuring timelines and quality requirements are met.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven hands-on experience with
ePUB creation
,
PDF accessibility
, and
XML workflows
.
Strong technical skills in
Fixed Layout
and
Reflowable ePUB
production.
Experience in
PDF remediation tools
and accessibility compliance guidelines.
Ability to perform
QC checks
and manage project completion with accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
