EOT Crane Operator
Responsibilities
· Operate EOT (Electric Overhead Traveling) cranes to lift, move, and position loads
· Conduct regular inspections of crane equipment to ensure proper functioning
· Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures
· Communicate with team members to coordinate load movements
· Record and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs
· Perform basic maintenance on crane equipment as needed
· Ensure that loads are securely fastened before lifting or moving
· Assist with other material handling tasks as required
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Valid EOT Crane Operator certification
· At least 2 years of experience operating overhead cranes
· Strong understanding of crane operation and safety protocols
· Ability to read and interpret load charts and diagrams
· Attention to detail and precision in handling loads
· Excellent communication skills
· Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job
