To learn more about our work, please visit: Position Summary The Policy & Research Analyst-Climate Resilient Agriculture will lead the execution of consultancy-based government engagement initiatives under SwitchONβs Shakti vertical. The role demands strong policy advocacy skills, government program handling experience, and high-level stakeholder engagement across diverse regions in India. The Manager will serve as a liaison between SwitchON, government bodies, and key stakeholders to strengthen the impact and reach of development initiatives through collaborative implementation models. Key Responsibilities Government Project Engagement Lead implementation of consultancy programs in coordination with state and national government departments. Facilitate alignment of project goals with government priorities, schemes, and development agendas. Stakeholder Coordination & Advocacy Build and maintain partnerships with government officials, development agencies, and institutional stakeholders. Represent SwitchON in policy discussions, government consultations, and advocacy platforms. Program Documentation & Communication Develop high-quality documentation, including reports, proposals, presentations, and communication material for government and institutional partners. Capture and share learnings, outcomes, and best practices across internal and external platforms. Strategic Planning & Monitoring Contribute to strategy formulation and work plan development for government consultancy projects. Track progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones in coordination with relevant departments. Qualifications, Experience & Skills Education: B.SC in Agriculture is mandatory/Master's Degree in Social Work or Agriculture Experience: 4β5 years of experience in implementing or coordinating government projects/programs in the development sector Familiarity with state and central government systems, schemes, and policy frameworks. Skills: Strong written and verbal communication in English, Hindi, and Bengali. Demonstrated skills in stakeholder engagement, government liaison, and policy advocacy. Excellent documentation and reporting abilities. Ability to travel extensively and adapt to rural and urban field settings.
