Role Overview: As a Design/Controls/Automation Engineer at BW Design Group, you will apply your knowledge of programming methods, electrical design, and engineering problem-solving to 21st-century manufacturing. Your main responsibilities will include electrical panel design, programming, and troubleshooting of packaging machinery and line control systems. This role will challenge you to be a passionate and successful business family member while expanding your technical abilities. Responsibilities: - Create user applications to monitor and control the production of consumer goods, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies using modern industry standards. - Design control systems that provide real-time feedback on the production life cycle. - Design, program, and troubleshoot packaging machinery and line control systems. - Provide electrical engineering design support. - Design electrical control panels. - Develop industrial controller (PLC) programming and Human Machine Interface (HMI). - Drive electrical engineering initiatives. - Support Design Group project teams. Qualification Required: - B.E. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation and Control, or equivalent technical degree. - 1-3 years of experience in industrial control panel design or PLC/SCADA programming. - Proficiency in SQL and Python Programming. - Ability to organize and execute multiple project responsibilities effectively. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility with tasks, and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors. - Preferred project experience with data analytics, reporting, electrical engineering, PLC automation applications, AutoCAD Electrical, and Rockwell PLC Programming. - Project experience in pharmaceutical, consumer products, and high-speed environments is a plus. - Willingness and ability to travel as necessary for project requirements, with travel less than 25%.
