Entry Level Controls Engineer

You will apply your knowledge of programming methods, electrical design, and engineering problem-solving to 21st-century manufacturing. As a Design/ Controls/Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for working on electrical panel design, programming, and troubleshooting packaging machinery and line control systems. This role will not only challenge you to be a passionate and successful business team member but also expand your technical abilities. Your educational background should include a B.E. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation and Control, or an equivalent technical degree. Your responsibilities will include creating user applications to monitor and control the production of consumer goods to meet various regulatory agency requirements using modern industry standards. You will design control systems to provide instantaneous feedback on the production life cycle, program and troubleshoot packaging machinery and line control systems, provide electrical engineering design support, design electrical control panels, program industrial controllers (PLC), and develop Human Machine Interface (HMI). Additionally, you will be involved in electrical engineering initiatives and support Design Group project teams. The requirements for this position include 1-3 years of experience in industrial control panel design, PLC, or SCADA programming. You must demonstrate the ability to organize and execute multiple project responsibilities simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, task flexibility, and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors are essential. Knowledge of SQL and Python Programming is required. Preferred qualifications include project experience in data analytics and reporting, electrical engineering, and PLC automation applications. Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and Rockwell PLC Programming is a plus, as well as familiarity with pharmaceutical, consumer products, and high-speed environments. You should be willing and able to travel as needed for project requirements, including project installation and start-up activities, client meetings, company-sponsored meetings, trainings, industry-related seminars, forums, or conventions.,
