Enterprise Data Architect

As a highly skilled and innovative Database Architect with a special focus on PostgreSQL and Solr, you will be joining our team to lead the design and architecture of database solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translating them into effective database and data flow designs. You will utilize ETL tools to extract and transform data from various sources, load it into databases, and develop data pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable data flow. Additionally, you will optimize database performance, ensure data integrity and security, and stay up-to-date with the latest database and ETL technologies and best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and architecture of database solutions, primarily focusing on PostgreSQL, Solr, and other timeseries/analytics databases - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective database and data flow designs - Utilize ETL tools to extract and transform data from various sources and load it into databases - Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable data flow - Optimize database performance, ensure data integrity and security - Stay up-to-date with the latest database and ETL technologies and best practices - Act as an early adopter of new technologies and assess their relevance to our data architecture - Continuously learn and educate the team on emerging trends, tools, and techniques in database architecture - Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience in DB, ETL & Data modeling related projects - Proven experience as a Database Architect, with expertise in PostgreSQL and Solr - Familiarity with ETL tools and processes - Strong understanding of data pipelines and their role in data management - Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving data requirements - Eagerness to learn and share knowledge with the team Please note that the ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of database architecture, experience with ETL tools, and be an early adopter of technology who is enthusiastic about continuous learning and sharing knowledge with the team.,
