Your Role As a Technical Lead, your role is to act as an internal expert and leader in the EAI space You will be providing innovative, scalable, and high-quality solutions to meet business needs from inception through design, implementation, and enhancement, across the EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) space You will proactively and holistically lead and support both business led and internal initiatives that guidethe development and management ofa portfolio of solutions in the EAI domain You will also provide technical guidance to team members, both internal and external, through the life cycle of these solutions The Technical Lead will contribute to overarching governance and processes, frameworks, platform, and strategy in the EAI space, as well as participate in leading through major transformation activities The EAI team is responsible for the application integrations that span across many core business functions, with a substantial amount of the domain being within commercial (ex sales, technical services, etc ) but also extending into other functions such as manufacturing, services, business intelligence and analytics, etc You will have a deep understanding of business goals, objective and business outcomes, business capabilities, value-streams, and business processes The Technical Lead provides the necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks supporting the development of technology solutions to ensure delivery of high quality, high impact capabilities to meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards You will create deliverables for managing the organization's portfolio of "to be" and "as is" solutions to enable and drive targeted business outcomes in the assigned domain What You Will Be Doing LeadSolutionsDesign and Analysis Leads evaluation,design,and analysis forthe implementation of key integration solutions across a group of specific business applications or technologies in an assigned commercial domain Creates and delivers comprehensive integration solutions focused on detailed design principles, decision points and dependencies between business and IT Managesand developsthe integration patterns for a broader scope of projectsor products, working closely with the business, cross-functional IT teams, and external partners for each project, product, orinitiative Analyzesthe business-IT environment (run, grow and transform the business) to detect critical deficiencies,legacy,and technical debt, and recommendssolutions for improvement (systems of record, differentiation, and innovation) OrchestrateSolutionsDelivery Designsand directsthe governance activities associated with ensuring delivery adheres to architectural framework, assurance, and compliance Facilitatesthe evaluation and selection of appropriate integration patterns and delivery mechanisms, as well as the design of standard and custom software configurations Monitorsthe current-state integration portfolio to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirements Facilitatesand Collaboratesto Deliver BusinessOutcomes Worksclosely with the project management office to ensure the execution of plans corresponds with what is being promisedthroughout the project or product lifecycle Works closely with the product owners and product managers to ensure a robust architectural runway that can support future business requirements throughout the product lifecycle Partner with application architects withinagileteamstoensure the projector productis aligned with the overall enterprise architecture Consultswith application and infrastructure development projectsand productsto fit systems or infrastructure to architecture and identify when it is necessary to modify projects to accommodate the solutions architecture Responsibilities Partner with developers, architects, designers, hardware engineers, project managers, and management teams Work closely with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally, to ensure successful delivery of end-to-end integration solutions Lead and mentor others in your domain Root cause partner issues and provides resolution to unblock development or improve experience Design and document key integration solutions and where needed prepare high quality presentations to key decision makers Ensure overall alignment within your domain on delivery of integration solutions, providing guidance and oversight to engineers and developers Create actionable steps to achieve key roadmap deliverables Design re-usable and scalable integration solutions to support key capabilities and portfolios What Youll Bring Bachelor's/Mastersdegree in a technical field such as computer science, MIS, engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience 12+ years of overall professional IT experience 10+ years of proven experience in the design, coding and implementation of data and application integration solutions 4+ years of proven experience in EAI relevant solution architecture Proven experience as a leader in prior roles, whether formal or informal Specific experience with service-oriented architecture, ESB, web services, and integration principles and concepts required Specific experience with managed file transfer platforms required Experience with Globalscape preferred Strong understanding of relevant security concepts, including file encryption, decryption, data security, and secure file transfer practices required Strong understanding of relevant network protocols and performance monitoring a plus Experience with scripting languages, such as PowerShell and Python, preferred Proven experience with the migration of data and application integrations and cross-domain integration projects Strong experience with holistic designs incorporating both cloud-based technologies and applications with a wide variety of application platforms, protocols, and services/interfaces Experience with ERP integrations a plus Demonstrated capability to quickly adapt to and leverage new technologies, platforms, and methodologies Foundational understanding of the key principles of architecture designs Experience in a customer-facing role such as technical support, consulting or solutions architecture Familiarity with information models and industry data standards such as automation and agile architecture Strong communication skills Negotiation skills, long term, and strategic thinking without losing the actual needs, teamwork and fast integration
