What youll be doing... The work you'll be doing is to support mission and business-critical applications within Verizon. You will be enhancing the customer Security, customer experience and building world class solutions. Under the mentorship of a Subject matter expert who would be supporting you on delivery, you will also work as a team member on various projects and mentor junior resources. You will help develop, implement and maintain this important application. Planning, designing, developing, coding and testing software systems or applications for software improvements and new products; revising and refining as required. Participating in the development of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing and ongoing support of systems. Conceptualizing and developing prototypes quickly in working with the product and architect. Engaging in engineering discussions, contributing to the conversation, providing your own opinions, asking thoughtful questions for clarification, and enriching the environment. Deploying high-performance distributed micro services and systems for platform products. Building something awesome. The ideal project is something you can be proud of that we use in our product. You are self-driven with experience in design and implementation of complex and distributed systems, particularly in building high-performance and Secured Backend Server Application. You have a passion for seeking engineering excellence and adopting new technologies. You are not afraid to drive for success by working with multi-functional teams. Youll need to have: Bachelors degree or Four or more years of work experience. Experience in Developing Server side Applications using Node JS. Experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, Kinesis, Step Functions and DynamoDB. Architect and implement scalable and reliable solutions on AWS. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Proficiency in JavaScript and asynchronous programming. Optimize applications for maximum speed, reduce latency and scalability. Implement security and data protection measures. Experience with App Crash reporting & Network Monitoring tools like Instabug Experience with Monitoring tools like New relic, Splunk, Kibana and Promotheus Experience with Unit Testing and Test Driven Framework. Knowledge of Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration. Experience in Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud. Experience in working with cross-functional teams and projects. Experience in databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, Oracle) for data storage, retrieval, and basic optimization. Knowledge of large-scale software architecture, networking and distributed systems. Knowledge of Git and the ability to work with branches, pull requests, and merges. Experience in Designing/Developing reusable framework. Experience with development and interacting with HTTP/RESTful APIs, Microservices. Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration and continuous deployment processes. Experience in AI Tools like Copilot and Gemini AI for integrating Development workflow Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Excellent Problem solving and Debugging skills Ability to work independently and Collaborate with a Multifunctional Team. Even better if you have one or more of the following: Experience with Angular, React JS and NodeJS. Experience in Java Experience in Full stack development Experience in AI Development
