Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic English Teacher to teach students of Grades 5 to 8 as per the GSEB English Medium curriculum. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the English language and a passion for inspiring students to develop excellent reading, writing, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging English lessons as per GSEB curriculum standards. Teach key components of the subject including grammar, literature, comprehension, and writing skills. Use interactive methods, such as group discussions, storytelling, and role play to encourage language use. Foster an environment that encourages reading, critical thinking, and creativity. Organise and participate in language-based activities such as debates, recitations, and drama. Communicate with parents during PTMs to share academic progress and areas of improvement. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a middle school setting (preferred). Strong understanding of GSEB English Medium syllabus and academic expectations. Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
