English Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic English Teacher to teach students of Grades 5 to 8 as per the GSEB English Medium curriculum. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the English language and a passion for inspiring students to develop excellent reading, writing, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons as per GSEB curriculum standards.
• Teach key components of the subject including grammar, literature, comprehension, and writing skills.
• Use interactive methods, such as group discussions, storytelling, and role play to encourage language use.
• Foster an environment that encourages reading, critical thinking, and creativity.
• Organise and participate in language-based activities such as debates, recitations, and drama.
• Communicate with parents during PTMs to share academic progress and areas of improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a middle school setting (preferred).
• Strong understanding of GSEB English Medium syllabus and academic expectations.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Creative teaching methods to make English learning fun and meaningful.
