English Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher for Grade 1 who can create a stimulating and nurturing environment that promotes a love for language and literacy in young learners. The ideal candidate will use innovative teaching methods, age-appropriate resources, and strong classroom management to help students develop foundational English skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills aligned with the curriculum.
• Foster creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking through stories, phonics, activities, and games.
• Create and maintain a positive, safe, and organized classroom environment.
• Assess students’ progress regularly and maintain records of academic performance.
• Provide individual and group support to help students achieve language milestones.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students’ development.
• Collaborate with other teachers to plan interdisciplinary projects or events.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and school-wide activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in English / Education or equivalent (B.Ed. preferred).
• Prior experience teaching early primary grades is preferred.
• Strong command of English (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of child development and early literacy teaching strategies.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and creativity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with digital tools or smart-class technologies is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
