Job Overview: The Content Writer will be responsible for creating engaging and compelling content across various platforms, including web pages, blogs, print media, social media, newsletters, press releases, and updates on ongoing service activities. Additionally, the role involves scriptwriting for videos, interviews, and other audiovisual content. Roles and Responsibilities: Generate high-quality, engaging, and compelling content across multiple platforms including web pages, blogs, print media, social media, newsletters, press releases, and ongoing service updates. Research and gather relevant information to create accurate and informative content. Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, tone, and style guidelines. Write engaging and captivating scripts for various videos, including voiceover-based, visuals-only, teasers, etc. Implement SEO best practices to optimise content for search engines and improve visibility. Incorporate relevant keywords, meta tags, and other SEO techniques to enhance content performance. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in content writing and SEO. Requirements: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Strong proofreading and editing abilities. Creativity, strong vocabulary, grammar and syntax proficiency, attention to detail, and ability to identify and correct typos and formatting inconsistencies. Ability to make content accessible and understandable for diverse audiences. Understanding of what engages different target audiences, such as youth, devotees, social media users, etc. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other relevant software. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, develop good rapport, and possess strong social and communication skills. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field. Relevant experience in content writing, copywriting, or scriptwriting. Strong research and storytelling abilities.
