English and Social Studies Teacher

As an English & Social Studies Teacher at Winmore Academy in Whitefield, Karnataka, you will be responsible for teaching students in Grades 3, 4, and 5 following the CBSE curriculum. Your role involves creating an engaging learning environment, fostering curiosity, and helping students develop critical thinking, communication, and social awareness skills. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in English and Social Studies according to the CBSE curriculum. - Develop age-appropriate teaching strategies, activities, and assessments. - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment to encourage participation and creativity. - Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback to students and parents, and maintain accurate records. - Collaborate with colleagues to organize events, projects, and activities related to the subjects. - Encourage moral, ethical, and social development alongside academic learning. - Stay updated with educational best practices and continuously improve teaching methods. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed.) or relevant subject specialization. - Proficiency in English and a good understanding of Social Studies concepts. - Prior experience teaching CBSE students (Grades 3-5) is preferred. - Strong classroom management and communication skills. - Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
