Diploma/B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial/ Metallurgy Engineering
Experience: 6 Yrs for Diploma / 2-3 Yrs for B.E
MS. Office, Outlook and familiarity with SAP systems PowerPoint

Key Responsibilities:

To take Daily Production Planning sheet from the In Charge Operation.
Keep proper Pass Record maintenance as per the defined norms.
To keep past record of the break down.
Study and analyse breakdown and cobbles in the mill.
Understand the pass design of the mill.
Prepare proper planning for the section change.
Prepare and maintain ISO and SAP documentation.
Keep record of the scrap and sticker generated in the mill and send it to SMS.
To prepare daily, monthly and yearly production report and submit the same to Incharge Operation.
Maintain stock of spares and daily consumable items.
Suggest the corrective measurements or improvements, if any, to the incharge operation to increase the Productivity.
Communicate production targets to fitters and operators and ensure that Daily Targets are met, missing targets should be escalated to the HoD with valid reasons.
To participate in Production meeting as and when conducted.
To communicate the respective Maintenance Department for any breakdown.
To communicate to the respective Maintenance Department if any change in the section and mill shutdown .
Check and instruct fitter for changing pass as per requirement.
To monitor operating data in the mill with respect to the set parameters.
Instruct fitters to Segregate sticker and end cutting grade wise.
To handle all escalations related to Production status, Quality, Maintenance, and HR.
To ensure adherence to all safety precautions in the mill
