Engineering Manager

As an Engineering Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading one of our key product engineering teams focused on developing scalable travel platform solutions. Your expertise in .NET 9/10, microservices, and cloud-agnostic architectures will be essential in driving innovation, quality, and delivery excellence. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Architecture Leadership:** Own solution architecture design, system decomposition, and service boundaries to ensure scalability and fault tolerance. Define high-level designs, domain models, and service boundaries for maintainability. - **Technology Leadership:** Architect and guide the development of scalable web and API-based applications using ASP.NET Core 8/9 and modern microservice patterns. - **Delivery Management:** Drive engineering excellence and delivery velocity by ensuring sprint predictability, code quality, and on-time releases. - **Code Quality & Governance:** Establish and enforce engineering standards using tools like SonarCloud, Codacy, and OpenTelemetry for performance monitoring. - **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Collaborate with Product, QA, UX, and DevOps teams to align business goals with technical outcomes and deliver seamless digital experiences. - **DevOps & Cloud:** Oversee CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Lambda), and ensure environment reliability across staging and production. - **Mentorship & Growth:** Coach and elevate engineers through technical mentorship, peer reviews, and structured learning roadmaps. - **Innovation & Modernization:** Champion modernization initiatives by integrating .NET 9 features, AOT compilation, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and cloud-native best practices. - **Operational Excellence:** Own SLAs/SLOs for uptime, response times, and incident management to ensure resilient and fault-tolerant systems. **Qualifications:** - **Education:** Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline. - **Experience:** 8-12 years of total experience with at least 2 years in technical leadership or team management roles. - **Technical Expertise:** Deep knowledge of C#, .NET 8.0+ / .NET 9.0 / .NET 10, ASP.NET Core, and Clean microservice architecture. *Additional Company Details:* The company focuses on Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and asynchronous programming.
