Engineering Manager (MEAN/MERN)

As an Engineering Manager at VT Netzwelt Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in leading the Web Team to deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable web solutions for global clients. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Leading the day-to-day engineering operations of the Web Department, ensuring end-to-end web application development. - Collaborating with the Delivery team to ensure timely and high-quality execution of web projects. - Mentoring and guiding engineers of varying experience levels, supporting their career growth and skill development. - Driving the adoption of best coding practices, conducting peer code reviews, and promoting modern DevOps principles. - Demonstrating expertise in developing scalable distributed systems using diverse architectural paradigms such as Serverless, Microservices, and Hybrid architectures. - Staying abreast of AI-assisted development practices and modern AI-enabled IDEs to enhance developer productivity and code quality. - Advocating for continuous learning, experimenting with emerging trends, and leading the adoption of modern frameworks and AI-powered development tools. - Participating in planning and estimation exercises to align efforts with technical complexity. - Collaborating with Solution Architects to ensure optimal system design and architecture. - Monitoring key engineering metrics like quality, velocity, and bug density to drive continuous improvement. Preferred Background & Experience: - 10+ years of web development experience with at least 3+ years in a team lead or engineering management role. - Strong technical foundation in JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, NestJS, or similar web technologies. - Proven experience in architecting and delivering modern, scalable web applications. - Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD practices, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is advantageous. - Experience in managing or collaborating with cross-functional teams including Mobile, QA, and DevOps. - Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.
