Role Overview: You will be responsible for leading a cross-functional engineering team at Noise, specifically focusing on the Luna vertical. Your role will involve technical leadership, architecture ownership, product delivery, team management, process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a team working on mobile applications (Android/iOS) and backend services (Node.js, AWS). - Drive system design for scalability, reliability, and security across mobile, backend, and cloud components. - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data scientists to ensure high-quality and timely feature delivery. - Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team while promoting a culture of ownership and innovation. - Establish and implement best practices for software development, CI/CD, and production monitoring. - Effectively communicate technical strategies to founders, leadership, and other teams. Qualifications Required: - B.Tech / B.E from a Tier 1 college is preferred. - Minimum of 8 years of software development experience with expertise in mobile and backend systems including Node.js, Kubernetes, Android (Kotlin), iOS (Objective C, Swift), SQL, NoSQL, and AWS infrastructure. - Experience with BLE data streaming from the Luna smart ring and leading engineering teams for at least 2 years. - Prior exposure to BLE technology and connected devices is advantageous. - Strong project management, communication, and team-building skills. - Ability to balance hands-on coding, technical leadership, and people management. - Proficiency in building scalable distributed systems and mobile-first applications.
