Engineering Manager - (iOS & Android)

As an Engineering Manager at Noise, you will play a crucial role in leading the engineering strategy, execution, and team growth for our Luna vertical. Your responsibilities will include: - **Technical Leadership**: - Lead and manage a cross-functional engineering team responsible for mobile applications (Android/iOS) and backend services (Node.js, AWS). - **Architecture Ownership**: - Drive system design for scalability, reliability, and security across mobile, backend, and cloud components. - **Product Delivery**: - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data scientists to deliver features at a high level of quality and velocity. - **Team Management**: - Hire, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and excellence. - **Process Improvement**: - Establish and drive best practices for software development, CI/CD, and production monitoring. - **Stakeholder Collaboration**: - Communicate technical strategy effectively to founders, leadership, and cross-functional teams. Qualifications required for this role: - B.Tech / B.E from a good college (Tier 1) preferred - 8+ years of software development experience with a strong background in mobile and backend systems: - Backend: Node.js, Kubernetes - Mobile: Android (Kotlin), iOS (Objective C, Swift) - Database: SQL, NoSQL - Infrastructure: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.) - Communication: BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) data streaming from the Luna smart ring - 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams as an Engineering Manager or equivalent role. - Prior experience working with BLE technology and connected devices is highly desirable. - Strong project management, communication, and team-building skills. - Ability to balance hands-on coding, technical leadership, and people management. - Experience in building scalable distributed systems and mobile-first applications. Good to have: - Experience in health-tech, IoT, or wearable devices. - Familiarity with security and compliance for data-centric applications. - Startup or fast-paced environment exposure.,
