Engineering Manager

As an Engineering Manager at our client's fast-growing multi-billion dollar advertising business, you will lead a new big-data engineering initiative within the Supply Quality organization in Bangalore. Your primary goal will be to build highly available, efficient, and low-latency internet scale infrastructure, including web-scale crawler, contextual processing, and classification systems for multiple advertising use cases. You will work with stakeholders to set goals, evolve the team's charter, and deliver cutting-edge solutions that significantly enhance customer experience. Your responsibilities will include providing technical expertise and leadership throughout product life cycles, influencing software engineers with best practices, and owning operational metrics. You will collaborate with business leaders and product managers to define product requirements, prioritize, communicate, and execute roadmaps and project plans. Working closely with engineers, you will define technical requirements, architect, and implement best-in-class solutions in an agile manner. Your focus will be on building and maintaining world-class customer experience and operational excellence for your deliverables. Additionally, you will be responsible for hiring, managing, mentoring, and growing a high-performance team of Software Engineers. To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate sound technical acumen, excellent project management skills, and effective communication capabilities. Proficiency in Java, NodeJS (Node.js), Python, Android Development, and iOS App Development will be essential for success.
