Engineering Lead - Kotlin & Java

As a Lead Software Engineer specializing in Kotlin and Java, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and guiding complex backend and microservices projects. Your role will involve providing technical leadership to engineering teams, ensuring code quality, and driving delivery across the full software development lifecycle. You will lead the design, development, and delivery of backend services and microservices using Kotlin and Java. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will define technical standards and ensure best engineering practices. Additionally, you will mentor and guide junior engineers, conduct regular code reviews, and provide technical direction. Your responsibilities will also include interfacing with customers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver robust technical solutions, overseeing project schedules to ensure timely completion of deliverables, and maintaining high code quality, proper documentation, and adherence to engineering processes. You will proactively identify and resolve technical issues to minimize defects and maximize customer satisfaction. To be successful in this role, you must have 5-7 years of strong professional experience in Kotlin and Java backend development, proven experience in leading software engineering teams or technical initiatives, expertise in designing scalable microservices and backend architectures, a solid understanding of the software development life cycle, coding standards, and Agile practices, strong problem-solving abilities, experience with major databases and cloud platforms, and excellent team communication and leadership skills.,
