Job Description

About Position:

The Engineering Head is a senior technology leader responsible for driving engineering excellence, solution architecture, and delivery quality across multi-disciplinary teams. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical expertise, strong customer orientation, and proven experience in engineering leadership, within product or services environments. with the ability to influence company strategy and contribute to revenue growth.

What You'll Do:

18 to 20+ years of experience in software engineering, including a minimum of 10 years in engineering leadership positions within either a services or product engineering setting.
Excellent stakeholder management, customer-facing communication, and solutioning abilities.
Hands-on to have meaningful discussions with customers without having to involve team members.
Technology leader with experience in product engineering, strong customer orientation, hands-on architectural expertise, and a track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams in a services environment
Overseeing multi-disciplinary engineering teams that design, build, and deliver software products for global clients
Accountable for engineering excellence, delivery quality, talent development, solution architecture, and ensuring the organization consistently delivers innovative, scalable, and high-impact products

Expertise You'll Bring:

Expertise in architectural governance, technical roadmaps, and modern engineering practices (cloud-native, microservices, DevOps, CI/CD, AI/ML, security-by-design.
Drive architectural governance, technical roadmap, and technology standards across teams/ products.
Champion modern engineering practices (cloud-native, microservices, DevOps, CI/CD, test automation, observability, AI/ML integration, security-by-design).
Act as the senior technical point of contact for key clientsunderstanding product vision, architecture needs, and business priorities.
Evaluate emerging technologies and guide clients on tech strategy, modernization, and product evolution.
Participate in client workshops, technology assessments, and roadmap planning.
Build trusted advisor relationships with SVP, VP-level stakeholders
Build a strong engineering culture emphasizing innovation, code quality, ownership, and continuous improvement
Contribute to company strategy, revenue growth, and new service offerings
Collaborate with HR on hiring, career paths, capability development, and performance.
