Job Description

Job Title: Engineering Change Analyst Job Summary: The Engineering Change Analyst is responsible for managing and coordinating the engineering change process across the organization. This includes processing engineering change requests (ECRs), engineering change orders (ECOs), and change notices (ECNs) to ensure accurate and timely implementation of product and documentation updates. The role serves as a bridge between engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and other departments to ensure clear communication and smooth execution of changes. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full lifecycle of engineering changes from initiation to implementation. Review and analyze ECRs and ECOs to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal processes. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, etc.) to assess impact and implement changes effectively. Maintain accurate and up-to-date product data in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems. Track, monitor, and report on the status of engineering changes and identify bottlenecks or delays. Ensure that all relevant documentation (drawings, BOMs, specs) is updated and released according to company standards. Support audits and regulatory compliance by maintaining accurate engineering change records. Train and support teams on change management processes and tools. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 4-6 years of experience in engineering change management, configuration management, or related roles. Strong understanding of engineering documentation (drawings, BOMs, etc.) and revision control. Proficiency with PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, Agile, Teamcenter) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Ability to manage multiple change requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing or product development environment. Familiarity with ISO, AS9100, or similar quality standards. Knowledge of CAD systems and how they integrate with PLM.
