Job Description

As a Backup Engineer with over 4 years of Level 2 or more experience in Backup Technologies, including EMC Networker, Data Domain, Tape Libraries, and EMC ECS, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Data backup configuration and restoration testing - Managing enterprise-level backup environments - Handling Networker Restoration Requests - Managing restoration and backup environment - Configuring backups and restorations - Performing code upgrades for Networker, Data Domains, and other backup components - Implementing vulnerability fixes - Monitoring and troubleshooting backups - Managing Tape Library - Handling Tapes Conciliations - Configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting module-based backups - Coordinating with vendors for support and fixes - Ensuring a deep understanding of data flow - Implementing DR Replication / CCR Clones - Working with DELL EMC ECS - Cloud Tiers for long-term backups and restorations of historical data - Utilizing encryption for data security - Demonstrating good communication skills - Taking ownership of tasks Additionally, the role requires excellent multitam coordination skills, being a team player, and demonstrating resourcefulness.,
