Engineer, Product Stewardship

Your primary responsibility as a member of the Product Stewardship Support team at Molex will be to support Molex plants worldwide by addressing Customer Environmental Requests (CERs) and obtaining product compliance data from suppliers. This role involves managing various projects and maintaining accurate, up-to-date regulatory documentation such as RoHS, REACH, EU MDR, Declaration of Non-Use (DoNU), IMDS, and substance test reports within SAP-EHSM. Your proactive efforts in managing technical documentation activities will be essential to ensure successful and timely completion of deliverables. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of strategies for continuous improvement, providing exceptional support and driving high customer satisfaction for assigned projects. - Handle Customer Environmental Requests (CER's) and fulfill Customer surveys/forms. - Communicate with Suppliers/Plants to obtain necessary compliance documentation. - Update regulatory documents in SAP DMS, including RoHS, REACH, EU MDR, Declaration of Non-Use (DoNU's), IMDS, and Substance Test reports. - Provide support for multiple projects and compliance activities. - Represent Global users in system development programs, identifying and documenting requirements, monitoring software development, organizing global user testing, and ensuring effective system implementation. - Plan, prioritize, and problem-solve to achieve established project objectives. - Stay updated on regulatory requirements and future trends concerning EHS. Basic qualifications: - 2 to 4 years work experience in Product Compliance/Stewardship functions. - Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical/Electronics/Chemical/Environmental/Biomedical Electronics). - Good knowledge of RoHS, REACH, Full Material Declarations (FMD) / IMDS, and other Environmental regulations and processes.
