Job Description As a Process Engineer at our company, you will be part of a dynamic and self-motivated team working on utility scale Water and Wastewater projects. Your role will involve investigating and advising on complex problems related to process engineering practice. You will collaborate with teams in Canada, attend coordination meetings, and contribute to the planning, design, and construction phases of various projects. Your responsibilities will include advanced engineering planning and design tasks, applying knowledge of process engineering principles, and preparing proposals and design reports. It is essential for you to have experience in engineering and design of treatment processes in the water and wastewater sector, possess good communication skills, and be familiar with software tools such as REVIT and AutoCAD. Key Responsibilities - Perform advanced engineering planning and design tasks on assigned projects under guidance from discipline lead. - Collaborate with teams in Canada/lead region, attend coordination meetings with other discipline leads/members. - Apply knowledge of current principles and practices of process engineering and keep informed of new methods and developments. - Assist and/or lead the development of proposals and contract negotiation. - Contribute to the development of new standards and specifications of process design. - Carry out detailed engineering and design of process streams for water and wastewater treatment facilities. - Execute strong English writing skills through preparing compelling proposals, technical memoranda, design reports, etc. - Review design documents meticulously, ensuring compliance with Canadian engineering standards, codes, and best practices. Qualifications Key Competencies / Skills: Mandatory Skills - Experience in engineering and design of various types of treatment processes of utility scale water and wastewater sector projects. - Possess good communication skills (verbal and written) including technical report writing. - Knowledge of software tools such as REVIT, AutoCAD.
