Engineer Process Automation (Yokogawa ProSAFE SLS)

As an Automation Engineer with Wood India Consulting, you will be responsible for supporting the UK team with all automation engineering tasks related to Yokogawa ProSAFE SLS software. This role is ideal for individuals with previous experience in Yokogawa ProSAFE SLS and who are looking to be part of a dynamic project team within an international service line. Key Responsibilities: - Development of Automation systems design deliverables in accordance with industry standards, including: - Detailed Design Specification - User requirement Qualifications - Cable specifications - Alarm management philosophy - Instrument index development - Control narrative - I/O schedule - Review Vendor Drawing and consolidate comments from other disciplines - Inter-discipline review of deliverables from other departments - Produce Material requisition and contribute to Technical Bid evaluation - Provide expertise in at least one Automation Technical Area (PLC, SCADA, Cyber Security, Network Design) - Identify, define, and implement Automation and Controls solutions for clients - Support the Lead Engineer in achieving project objectives - Apply integration concepts to various systems and vendor platforms - Engineer technical aspects of automation project design and implementation - Prepare engineering studies and software design documentation - Resolve engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards - Support Programme inputs and updates Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in a project delivery environment - Competency in Automation and Control Engineering - Experience with Yokogawa ProSAFE SLS - Detailed experience with multiple system implementation projects and control system platforms - Knowledge of modern automation and control applications, tools, and methodologies - Strong planning, organizing, and execution skills Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, offering solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
