Engineer- Mechanical

You will be responsible for: - Designing HVAC systems, plumbing, fire-protection systems, and specialized piping systems - Analyzing heating, ventilation, and cooling loads of buildings - Performing engineering calculations and coordination with various departments for project implementation - Conducting life-cycle-cost analyses - Producing detailed drawings and specifications, as well as engineering reports - Conducting field reviews - Undertaking any other duties as assigned Qualifications required: - Mechanical Engineering Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution - Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit - Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design - Ability to work independently with minimal instructions - Focus on HVAC, plumbing, and building engineering - Experience with energy modeling calculations - Working knowledge of Ontario Building Codes, CSA standards, and ASHRAE standards - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in the Microsoft suite of programs In addition to the job responsibilities and qualifications, you will find below some additional details about the company: WSP is a leading professional services consulting firm with a global presence.
