Role Overview: As an R&D Engineer at Valeo, you will be responsible for performing activities in compliance with the Engineering discipline Development Plan of your PG/PL. Your role will involve reviewing internal requirements, customer requirements, and specifications. You will be accountable for the robust design and validation in line with the economical targets, supporting technical architecture and standards assignments, and following standardization rules. Additionally, you will support design reviews both internally and with suppliers. Your scope may include all or part of the design, integration, and validation of blocks/products. Key Responsibilities: - Perform activities in compliance with Engineering discipline Development Plan of your PG/PL - Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications - Ensure robust design and validation in line with economical targets - Support technical architecture and standards assignments - Follow Standardization rules - Support design reviews, internally and with suppliers - Perform or support Engineering discipline design simulations/coding/validation - Perform or support Engineering discipline design calculations including worst case/statistical and support thermal studies - Perform or support Engineering disciplines tests - Report the progress of your tasks - Escalate risks Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or related field - Strong understanding of Engineering disciplines processes and Design Rules - Prior experience in R&D or related roles - Excellent communication and teamwork skills Join Us!
