Engineer Maintenance- Civil

As a Maintenance Engineer Civil, your primary role is to ensure the overall maintenance and integrity of civil assets and equipment. This involves identifying areas of obstruction or breakdowns and taking necessary steps to rectify them using troubleshooting techniques. Your goal is to increase civil assets uptime and availability while adhering to company policies, safety guidelines, and allocated budgets. Your key responsibilities include: - Conducting day-to-day civil maintenance activities following relevant policies, processes, and standard operating procedures. - Staying updated with leading practices and trends in civil asset maintenance and contributing to continuous improvement systems. - Preparing maintenance work estimations, performing cost-benefit analysis, and executing jobs as per plan. - Performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities for civil assets such as concrete structures, roads, and equipment foundations to minimize production loss and improve productivity. - Executing shutdown jobs within quality, safety, and cost parameters. - Monitoring maintenance contractor performance to ensure adherence to set norms. - Validating costing and invoices of contractors to ensure accurate billing. - Ensuring compliance with safety, fire, and environmental processes and norms. - Assisting in maintenance audits, preparing reports, and supporting implementation of recommended measures. - Coordinating with contractors and material suppliers to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. - Adhering to maintenance schedule timelines, quality of activities, and timely certification of services. Your success metrics will be based on adherence to maintenance schedule, timelines, quality of activities, timely certification of services, and reduction in shop floor inventory. You will be working closely with multidisciplinary internal teams such as Peer Groups, Reliability Team, and Manufacturing Team, as well as external stakeholders including Maintenance Vendors, Contractors, and Material Suppliers. Education qualifications required for this role include a Diploma/Engineering degree in Civil, along with 2 to 5 years of experience in civil asset maintenance.
