Engineer Load Calculation Sites

As the ideal candidate for this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing root cause analysis for general field issues. This includes actively identifying causes and implementing cost-effective solutions, utilizing SCADA and meteorological data for performance assessments. You will also be required to conduct aeroelastic load calculations specific to site conditions to validate assessments and perform load assessment tasks within service projects. Your role will involve optimizing controller functions, contributing to the design of different components in a multidisciplinary team, and documenting results in technical reports. Additionally, you will support service projects and adhere to Nordex project management guidelines while also aiding in the continuous improvement of toolchain and methodologies. To qualify for this position, you should hold an M.Sc. or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field with a specialization in dynamics, simulation, or renewable energy. Previous experience in project management related to aerodynamic simulation is essential. Proficiency in dynamic simulations of complex systems using tools like Bladed, Alaska, HawcStab, Flex5, and familiarity with fatigue analysis methodologies and structural dynamics is required. Any additional skills in automation tools would be beneficial. Being a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication abilities, and adaptability to a dynamic work environment are crucial for success in this role.,
