Engineer, Lab Support

As an Engineer, Lab Support at Presidio, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our lab environment. Your responsibilities will include patching Windows & Linux Operating Systems, setting up remote access for users, running system software upgrades on various infrastructure solutions, troubleshooting operational issues, documenting the lab environment, learning multiple lab systems, planning and implementing upgrades, managing user accounts, and interacting with internal and external customers. To excel in this role, you should have 4-5 years of IT experience with system administration or lab buildouts. Additionally, experience with Networking products such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Arista, supporting and troubleshooting lab network issues, documenting processes and procedures, and Linux or Windows system administration will be beneficial. You are expected to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills. Your ability to produce and maintain design, installation, and configuration documentation for supported systems will be essential.
