Engineer, Infrastructure Cloud

As an experienced AWS solution design engineer at Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE), you will be part of the infrastructure cloud team responsible for internal services, developer collaboration tools, and the shared AWS cloud services platform. Your role involves developing utilities, automating deployment processes, and ensuring operational readiness, fault tolerance, and scalability of systems. You will also stay updated on cloud technologies, participate in an on-call rotation, and drive automation to reduce support and operations load. Key Responsibilities: - Develop utilities and enhance existing tools to increase overall efficiency - Create and manage Terraform/CloudFormation templates for automating AWS resources - Review and refine design documents for operational readiness and scalability - Monitor cloud technologies and trends in the industry - Identify opportunities to reduce toil and technical debt in operations Qualifications Required: - 2+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or SRE role in an AWS environment - Strong expertise in AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, ECS, etc. - Proficiency in Python or Golang - Hands-on experience with continuous integration and delivery - Track record of introducing automation for administrative tasks Preferred Knowledge and Experience: - Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible - History of delivering services with an API-first approach - Background in system administration, network, or security is a plus Join ICE's dynamic team where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to innovative solutions in the financial services sector.,
