Engineer II - QA

As an Engineer II - QA at Aristocrat, your role will involve developing and implementing test plans and test scripts for new and existing game themes and operating systems. You will be responsible for submitting and tracking any product issues found during testing to ensure they are resolved promptly. Your input to the project status report for each assigned project will be crucial. Additionally, you will need to reproduce issues when necessary to assist software development in resolving them and provide feedback for continuous test improvement. Clear and concise documentation of bugs in English in a bug tracker will be essential. Maintaining transparent communication with your immediate manager, discussing current tasks and projects, and providing timely progress reports will ensure efficient workflow. Collaboration with relevant parties both inside and outside the company will be a key aspect of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement test plans and test scripts for new and existing game themes and operating systems. - Submit and track any product issues found during testing. - Provide input to project status reports. - Reproduce issues when necessary to assist in issue resolution. - Provide feedback for continuous test improvement. - Maintain transparent communication with your manager. - Collaborate closely with all relevant parties both inside and outside the company. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 2+ years of experience as a QA specialist/Engineer on a Client-Server product; experience in testing gaming & Casino is a plus. - Computer Science or Engineering related degree. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Understanding of web-based mobile testing and responsive compatibility testing across various platforms (Android/iOS). - Experience working with Fiddler or any network sniffer/tracing program. - Basic knowledge of the gaming & Casino industry. - Technical knowledge of MY/SQL, HTML5, and XML/JSON.
