Engineer, Frontend

As an active participant in defining the experience of a new application, your role will involve various tasks such as interpreting business requirements into effective UI and server-side specifications, building prototypes for new scenarios and optimizations, and collaborating with Product managers and UX/Design team members. You will review designs, code, and provide leadership to junior team members while maintaining a high-quality bar in projects from the beginning and implementing quality improvements by introducing better technical practices. Your responsibilities will include multi-tasking and providing efficient input on Development activities, assisting in developing, organizing, and maintaining technical practices, and collaborating with teams/stakeholders across multiple geographies. It is crucial for you to have 3-5 years of Frontend Development experience, proficiency in developing Cloud-enabled applications and Responsive Web Applications with a focus on User Experience, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Moreover, you should possess a deep understanding of Web UI, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React, Redux, Webpack, Saga, Material UI, NodeJS, and other related technologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, exposure to real customer problems, and knowledge of Design Patterns, TDD, Cloud First principles, OOPs concepts, RESTful services, and Data Structures (especially XML and JSON operations) are required for this role. Experience with AI/ML/GenAI technologies is a plus. Additionally, you are expected to have a profound understanding of the E2E request/response cycle between client and server, familiarity with CSS Frameworks like Bootstrap, LESS, or SASS, and hands-on experience with Unit Testing frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, Mocha, chai, etc. Proficiency in version control systems like GIT, build tools like Gradle and Jenkins, Workers, Socket Programming, ECMA2015, ECMA5, cross-browser scalability & compatibility, troubleshooting, debugging, caching, fixing memory leaks, performance tuning, and open-source technologies will be beneficial for this role.,
