Job Description

Requirement:

  • Monitoring the Cybersecurity related security events and new attacks on 24x7 basis.
  • Respond to security requests received and/or escalated from the users and Helpdesk Function.
  • Categorizing the incident based on the severity and assigning to appropriate security group.
  • Performing 1st level of troubleshooting and initial investigation.
  • Creates a record for new incidents in the system.
  • Triaging potentially malicious alerts to determine severity and criticality of the alert.
  • Responding to alerts from various security detection systems and platforms.
  • Collaborate with other staff for resolution activities.
  • Periodic reports (Daily/Weekly/Monthly)
  • Collect contextual information and pursue technical root cause analysis and attack method analysis in their reported region.
  • Close or escalate the security incident to the SOC L2 or L3 Function.
  • Monitor the SIEM and other tool dashboards to check on the activity
