INVIXIUM is currently seeking an Embedded Engineer to join the Engineering team. As an Embedded Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the product development team by designing and developing system software that operates on an embedded system. This role encompasses various aspects of embedded system development, including design, development, and testing. We are seeking a curious, driven, and passionate individual to join our team and contribute to our continuous innovation in the biometric security sector. **Responsibilities:** - Design and implement software for embedded devices and systems, including Linux device drivers and BSP changes. - Review hardware schematics of embedded systems. - Develop, code, test, and debug system software. - Improve efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical and system software issues. - Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code. - Adhere to high-quality development standards to deliver solutions on time and within budget. - Provide third-level support to business users. **Qualifications and Experience:** - Bachelor of Engineering in Computers or Electronics and Communications or related field with a strong willingness to learn. - Minimum 2-5 years of experience in an Embedded Engineer role. - Proficient in C and C++ programming. - Excellent knowledge of Linux Operating System. - Strong understanding of Microcontrollers, Microprocessors, and digital electronics. - Ability to read schematics and datasheets for components. - Experience with Qualcomm, TI, NXP processors based Hardware Board Bring-up. - Familiarity with hardware protocols such as I2C, UART, SPI, etc. - Knowledge of Linux device drivers and socket programming. - Understanding of Thread, Process, IPC (Inter-process communication). - Familiarity with agile development methodologies. - Understanding of unit testing, functional testing, and load testing. **About Us:** Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, with a global presence in India, the Middle East, UK, USA, Latin America, and Africa, Invixium specializes in manufacturing biometric security solutions that utilize face recognition for access control, workforce management, and visitor management.
