Engineer - Electromechanical

As a motivated professional with strong skills in the domain of Low Voltage Air Circuit Breakers and molded case circuit breaker, your role will involve participating in all phases of the product development lifecycle. This includes Requirements, Design, Testing, and Release, following a structured engineering process to ensure quality and reliability. You will collaborate with external and internal customers, such as Product Management, Field Service, Operations, and other Engineering teams during the product development life cycle. Your responsibilities will include the design, development, and testing of subsystems of LV circuit breakers like Mechanism, Arc chute, and housing products like LV circuit breaker (ACB and MCCB). You should have expertise in the design of sheet metal, plastic part design, different sensor selection, and its integration. Additionally, you should be able to drive a technology design with a team of engineers both locally and remotely. Leveraging Design for Six Sigma for reliable and on-time launch of projects is also a key aspect of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle following a structured engineering process - Collaborate with external and internal customers during the product development life cycle - Design, develop, and test subsystems of LV circuit breakers - Drive technology design with a team of engineers - Leverage Design for Six Sigma for reliable and on-time project launches Qualifications: - Bachelors or Mtech degree in Mechanical/Electrical - 4+ years of relevant experience - 4+ years of experience in design and development related to subsystems of LV circuit breakers - 2-4 years of experience in LV circuit breaker subsystem design and sensor integration - Experience in plastic and sheet metal parts design - Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma methodology - Understanding of basic mechanisms and basics of low voltage circuit breakers - Hands-on experience in Mechanism design - Knowledge in Manufacturing of sheet metal plastic parts - Good Knowledge of PLM like ENOVIA and modeling software Creo 7.0 In addition to technical skills, good communication skills in English (verbal and written) are essential to effectively communicate information to customers and technical staff.,
