Engineer CFD

Role Overview: As a CFD Analysis Engineer at CNH Industrial, you will play a crucial role in providing fluid/thermal analysis for agricultural and construction machines, contributing to the development of innovative products that sustainably advance the work of farmers and builders worldwide. You will be a key member of the CFD Team, supporting the design of components and subsystems such as A/C & HVAC systems, engine cooling packages, hydraulics, transmissions, and engine air intakes & exhausts. Key Responsibilities: - Develop virtual simulation models using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) to evaluate engineering designs of agricultural and construction machinery. - Provide recommendations to peers and managers based on sound engineering principles to address thermal/fluid problems and contribute to overall engineering objectives. - Utilize software tools like Star CCM+, Ensight, ANSYS Fluent, GT-Power, Actran Creo, TeamCenter, etc., to simulate designs for cooling packages, exhaust systems, HVAC systems, transmissions, and other components. - Perform engineering calculations for various scenarios including emissions, thermal, airflow, hydraulic, aero-acoustic, and refrigeration problems to determine the size and performance of parts. - Adhere to engineering standards, methodologies, and global product development processes in daily work tasks. Qualification Required: - MS Degree in Engineering or a related field with 3-4 years of industry experience. - Good knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics. - Some knowledge in underhood engine cooling, two-phase flows, and climatization. - Familiarity with exhaust after-treatment analysis including SCR, DPF, or DOC. - Basic understanding of aero-acoustics and fan noise.
